Job description

  • The Supervisor of Investment Assessment is responsible for leading a team of analysts in evaluating investment opportunities across various asset classes. This role involves conducting thorough financial analysis, market research, and risk assessments to support the organization's investment strategy and decision-making processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Oversee and mentor a team of investment analysts in conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement investment assessment methodologies and frameworks to ensure comprehensive analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align investment assessments with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to inform investment strategies.
  • Evaluate the performance of existing investments and recommend adjustments based on analysis.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including financial institutions, brokers, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during the assessment process.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide insights on investment opportunities and risk factors.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by promoting professional development and best practices.

Job requirements

  • Specification: Bachelor+ MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

  • Degree: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Years of Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant solid investment background in contracting with high knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements
  • 1+ years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic principles.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
