Job description
Supports the site Manager, Contracts & Claims in all his duties on the Project such as managing project-related contract documentation, claims, variations, and subcontractor coordination, in line with the matrix of responsibilities issued by the Department, Contracts and Commercial, ensuring compliance and effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Main areas of responsibility
Assist the site Manager, Contracts & Claims (MCC) in reviewing various contractual documents, as directed and under the supervision of the Director, Commercial Contracts.
Assist the MCC in reviewing the Variation Orders (VOs) issued by the Client, highlight any risk in the terms of VOs, for further proposed amendments by the MCC and final validation by the Director, Commercial Contracts.
Assist the MCC in the coordination with the Commercial team for the purpose of compiling Cost Variation Claims.
Coordinate with all Site departments to collect all data required for enabling the MCC to prepare correspondences and claims to the Client by the MCC, such as Notices and Claim Particulars including EoT claims; and report to the MCC for final review and validation by the MCC-HQ.
Assist the Commercial team (as directed by the MCC) in the review of Subcontractor’s Claims and report to the MCC for final assessment.
Assist the Commercial team in dealing with Major Subcontract Agreements (if any) under the supervision of the site MCC and MCC HQ.
Prepare and maintain live tracking logs of Contract related correspondences and claims for weekly issuance to all stakeholders at Site and HQ.
Prepare Monthly Dashboard for Variations, Claims and Disputes, Concerns, Recommendations and report to the MCC for further reporting to as required by the DCC-HQ.
Assist the MCC in monitoring the Project performance with respect to the compliance with Contractor’s rights and obligations, in line with the DCC-HQ directives.
Assist the MCC in Project’s handover and closeout including the process of obtaining Taking Over and Performance Certificates.
Miscellaneous Duties
Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
Job requirements
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree
Category :Architect or Civil Engineering
Other Requirements:
Technical and Construction experience at Sites with focus on infrastructure
Claims experience; Face-to-face communication preference over written correspondences
Years of Experience:
12 years (out of which 5 to 7 years as Contract Administrator)
