Sales Specialist Equipment Rental

Job description

To present and sell Eq rental Services to new and existing customers, prospect and contact potential customers, reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

Daily Operations

  1.      Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work

  2.     Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

  3.      Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company requirements, policies and standards

Sales Operation

  1.      Develop and maintain effective relationship with key accounts, ensuring customer expectations are met through proactive problem identification and resolution strategies

  2.      Increase sales volume for products, while maintaining sales expense budget

  3.      Work closely with supervisor to develop sales to effectively and efficiently sales target achievement

  4.      Identify and meet needs of potential customers

  5.      Create accurate bids and proposals according to customers’ needs as well as bid specifications

  6.      Read and interpret blue prints and plans is beneficial

  7.      Verify sales tickets and pricing for customers

  8.      Keep up-to-date on product changes, selling strategies, competitive methods, expense control…etc

  9.      Include full detailed reports and status updates meeting established deadlines and objectives

  10.   Establish annual sales projections and recommend sales programs to reach sales projections

Self-Management

  1.      Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year

  2.      Take ownership of own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means which go beyond just training

  3.      Understand the competencies relevant to the role, and work towards displaying as well as developing these effectively

  4.      Keep abreast of relevant professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional networks

  5.      Handle any additional tasks as per business needs

  1.      Follow all relevant company and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

  2.      Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and cont­­­­­­rols to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

  3.      Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Job requirements

Degree Bachelor, Business Administration / Marketing

Years of Experience

·        3+ years of relevant experience in sales

·        CRM & Sales Skills Certificates
