Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Revit BIM Modeler with proven experience in road and highway infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing accurate, data-rich 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other design software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage Revit BIM models for road and highway projects, including alignments, cross-sections, drainage structures, signage, and street furniture.
Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and clash-free models.
Interpret and convert 2D drawings, civil 3D models, and sketches into 3D Revit models.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams during all phases of the design process (conceptual, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation).
Manage model updates based on design changes or client feedback.
Ensure compliance with relevant BIM standards (such as ISO 19650, PAS 1192), company guidelines, and project-specific requirements.
Support in quantity take-offs, scheduling, and 3D visualization needs.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve conflicts using clash detection tools like Navisworks.
Maintain proper documentation and model version control.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in BIM modeling with a focus on road and highway infrastructure.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and preferably Civil 3D.
Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, or other coordination and model management platforms.
Understanding of civil engineering design principles, particularly related to transportation infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and LOD (Level of Development) standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
