Job description
Project Manager is responsible for executing the project according the project management plan within budget and required quality level as per the client standard and contract obligations.
7. Principal Accountabilities:
• Communicate all the correspondence with Consultant & Client to the RO.
• Maintain close relationship with client and consultant.
• Close follow up with Liaising officer and concern parties for removing obstacles in the project.
• Propose Revised Scope of Work, RBOQ, variation order etc. on time and coordinate closely with concern for approval.
• Prepare and Send Monthly fund requirement for the projects on or before 20th to PMO.
• Follow up closely with Regional Office for required Funds allocation and priorities.
• Closely coordinate with Regional Director to get all support from head office.
• Ensure submission of periodic reports to regional office on time.
• Perform the Risk and Issue management properly and maintain the registers.
• Maintain and control the project documents properly (e.g all contractual documents, designs, approvals & proposals etc.)
• Effective utilization of Project Management tools like ERP , iCMS and CA Clarity
• Maintain the lessons learned log and update the log whenever necessary.
Project Life Cycle:
Project Initiation Stage:
• Project manager need to study all the project related documents and prepare presentation for the kick off meeting.
• Project Mobilization plan is to be drawn down.
Project Planning stage:
• Develop the execution strategy in coordination with the Regional Director and BU Director.
• Lead Schedule, budget and cash flow preparation.
• Submit and get approval of all client submittals.
• Prepare procurement plan and raise MR ahead of time.
• Prepare required resources plan (Manpower & Equipment Histogram).
Project Execution Stage:
• Ensure the availability of designs, shop drawing and survey data requirements.
• Manage the sub-contractors execution as per time and quality & safety.
• Validate, approve and submit Subcontractor / vendors Invoices timely to PMO.
• Monitor project resources to achieve more than %95 productivity of AICC standards.
• Monitor project resources to achieve more than %90 effective utilization.
• Monitor project execution team to deliver quality product with durability as per project specifications and requirements.
Validate and approve all the internal charging bills.
• Monitor and Control the project cost with proper allocations timely.
• Prepare and submit IPC and get the approval from client on time.
