About the Role: The Manager of Excellence is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of the organization’s excellence and performance initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Excellence, this role ensures the effective deployment of quality frameworks, performance measurement systems, and process improvement methodologies to enhance organizational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives. The Manager acts as a key driver in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities:

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Implement and manage performance measurement tools, including KPI dashboards and balanced scorecards.

  • Collect, analyze, and report on performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Provide regular performance updates to the Director of Corporate Excellence and relevant stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Process Improvement

  • Support the implementation of corporate excellence models such as EFQM, Lean, or Six Sigma.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build organizational understanding and capability in excellence practices.

  • Collaborate with departments to integrate excellence initiatives into daily operations.

Change Management and Innovation

  • Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Promote innovative approaches to problem-solving and operational challenges.

  • Actively seek and share best practices from industry leaders and benchmarking organizations.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between the Director of Corporate Excellence and departmental teams.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates on corporate excellence initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Provide guidance and support to team members involved in excellence and quality projects.

  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for staff.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the corporate excellence team.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate excellence, quality management, or related areas, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Professional certifications in excellence and quality frameworks (e.g., EFQM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO Internal Auditor, KPI Institute).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in performance management tools and techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and frameworks (e.g., EFQM, ISO, Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Competence in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

  • Capable of identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Communication Skills:
