Job description

  1.   Job Purpose

Oversee and optimize all company-wide fuel operations across projects, ensuring efficient distribution, accurate consumption monitoring, and full compliance with company policies and Aramco regulations. The role is responsible for establishing effective tracking systems, controlling costs, and ensuring the integrity and transparency of all fuel-related transactions and activities.

·         Manage and oversee all fuel operations across company projects, including sourcing, storage, distribution, and consumption.

·        Establish and monitor a centralized fuel tracking and control system to ensure transparency and prevent misuse or loss.

·        Analyze actual fuel consumption per equipment and project, comparing against approved quotas and operational hours.

·        Coordinate with Aramco for fuel sourcing, quota allocation, and compliance with supply chain requirements.

·        Supervise fuel offloading from Aramco to stationary tanks, transfers to mobile tankers, and final distribution to equipment.

·        Develop and implement procedures for fuel inventory management, reporting, and reconciliation.

·        Ensure maintenance and calibration of fuel storage tanks, meters, and distribution systems.

·        Review and approve fuel-related documentation, including bills of lading, daily consumption reports, and variance analyses.

·        Lead the investigation and resolution of any discrepancies or incidents related to fuel operations.

·        Coordinate closely with the Finance, Procurement, and Equipment departments to align fuel data with cost control, billing, and project reporting.

·        Develop and train staff on fuel handling, safety protocols, and monitoring systems.

·        Support sustainability initiatives by optimizing fuel efficiency and reducing operational waste.

 

Job requirements

Required Academic Qualification

  1.     Qualification

Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant field

3.     Other Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)

4.     Years of Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in fuel operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
