Job description

Support the Manager Quantity in pre-contract estimations for infrastructure projects. Ensure BOQ accuracy,

compliance with standards, and coordination with tender and engineering teams. Guide and mentor quantity

surveyors during the pre-tender phase.

Principal Accountabilities

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  1. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work

environment.

2. Implement and uphold safety and security protocols to protect the well-being of all employees and

company assets.

Pre-Contract Supervision

  1. Supervise the preparation and review of BOQs and quantity take-offs for multiple infrastructure tenders.

  2. Ensure compliance with CESMM, POMI, or client-defined measurement rules across all pre-contract work.

  3. Verify accuracy and completeness of quantities submitted by project QS teams.

Quantity Control and Review

  1. Review quantity take-offs and BOQs prepared by Senior and Project QSs for consistency and technical

correctness.

2. Conduct internal reviews and audits of pre-contract estimation deliverables.

Training and Mentorship

  1. Provide on-the-job training to junior QSs on pre-contract and estimation standards.

  2. Support the technical development and performance review of QS team members.

Coordination and Communication

  1. Interface with engineering and design teams to clarify quantity-related ambiguities in drawings.

  2. Support tender department with accurate and timely quantity data for bid pricing.

  3. Attend coordination meetings to represent the estimation team.

Documentation and Standardization

  1. Ensure BOQ formats, templates, and quantity reports are consistent across all projects.

  2. Maintain accurate logs of BOQs, revisions, and correspondence related to estimation.

Miscellaneous Duties

· Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.

Job requirements

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

Other Requirements:

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurement & Understanding of CESMM / POMI

· Fluent in English & Arabic Languages

· High proficiency in quantity take-off softwares, AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Years of Experience:

8-14 Years of relevant experience in post-contract quantity surveying in infrastructure and heavy civil

projects, with at least 5 years in a senior role, ideally within Saudi Arabia or GCC
