Job description

Project Interface Management

1. Coordinate and expedite technical requirement & solution between internal and external parties of the Project

Design Team and Construction Team

2. Review, critique and advise on the interface management documentation from each of the package

Contractor's to ensure that the outputs satisfy the Engineer's procedural requirements and the Contractor's

obligations

3. Lead and manage the project-wide interface management process, and thereby fulfil the Engineer's obligations

as defined in the approved "Interface Management Plan" / "Procedure for Interface Management"

4. Administer the cross-package inputs to the interface management database and ensure that each contractor

initiates, manages and closes out all interface issues in a timely manner with traceable documentation.

5. Organise, chair, control and minute regular Monthly Interface Coordination Meetings with the

Client/Stakeholders and all Sub-Contractors to promote cross-package interaction and close cooperation

between all parties on the project

6. Report to the Employer, Client, Stakeholders, the Engineer's Senior Management on specific and generic

interface management issues project-wide, both on an ad-hoc and weekly basis

7. Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Managers where

appropriate

8. Collaborating with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and Engineering working on the project

9. Develop or update operating policies for team communication and safety and risk mitigation

10. Identify the interface detail plan/design, ensure the boundary is clearly identified in the design document,

ensure the interface handover are clearly identified in the schedule, develop the interface management

protocols for the Subcontractors

11. Develop the understanding of the interface risks and mitigation measure

1. Manage & evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned tasks and provide

development opportunities to maximize the potential and engagement of employees

2. Manage the talent pipeline through effective utilization of employee development programs, mentoring

programs, career planning, and succession planning

3. Manage employees’ changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking best

practices into account, changes in standards, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive

action plans

Policies, Processes & Procedures

1. Manage the implementation of department procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant

procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services

2. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures and

controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible

environmental attitude

3. Ensure the implementation of various information security practices and standards to ensure compliance with relevant policies and the protection of Company data and information

Job requirements


  • Degree:  Bachelor+ 3. Specification Engineering, Construction Management
  • Years of Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in the Mega projects’ interface technicality

· PMP Certificate is a must.
