About the Role
Facility Supervisor is responsible for providing technical and supervisory support for the technical facilities team to manage and support site maintenance of mechanical, electrical facilities systems and civil/infra jobs at the facility sites including engineering, development and execution of construction and operational facility projects’ requirements.
Responsibilities
Supervise maintenance, documentation, and related activities required for all facilities in sites to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements.
Ensure Welfare requirements is in place of different site and managed area/projects.
Ensure that drawings and schematics are up to date.
Supervise maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of facilities different sites tools & equipment, along with accommodation operational technical maintenance service requirements.
Ensure calculations are done to ensure proper & accurate standards.
Enhance the respond and assistance to any engineering-related issues whether it is an urgent/emergency call or corrective works in all facility sites.
Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance & repair activities for all facility sites.
Ensure regular updates/monitoring and proper execution of maintenance plans along with its documentation.
Identify alternative engineered resolutions to recurring civil/infra engineering issues to serve maintenance requirements.
Recommend improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working condition activities for the area and sites.
Ensure that the facility complies with all safety codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
Ensure the existence of safety procedures and emergency response plans.
Implement energy-saving measures and strategies to optimize facility operations.
Follow up in closing all facility related NCR’s.
Coordinate the allocation of resources, such as utilities, water, and power, to meet project demands.
Monitor resource consumption and ensure cost-effective use.
Manage distribution of manpower (engineers, technicians, foreman, and workers) as per projects needs and requirements.
Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials on the project site.
Track usage and reorder supplies as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for facility-related issues and requests from project teams.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet site needs.
Ensure implementation of department procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services.
Follow up work in progress to assure construction and installation of facilities and equipment follow approved detailed design and engineering standards.
Escalate to facility manager any deviation or obstacles affect either on mobilization or demobilization process and activities.
Execute engineering requirements for de-mobilization plan from technical perspectives and projects requirements.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and drawings for facility systems and assets.
Prepare reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and budgets.
Supervise on service providers, contractors, and suppliers for facility-related services.
Inspect technical works that are completed by the technical team/subcontractors to ensure it meets the related specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors & suppliers as per requirements, assess their performance, and discuss with the facility manager for any deviation from the plan.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field).
7-10 yrs. Proven experience in facility management or in construction sites.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of one or more of civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing system, and HVAC.
Familiarity with codes, standards, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Strong problem solving & troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and people management.
