Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Engineer Surveyor with infrastructure experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise land and engineering surveys, supporting infrastructure development projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, and drainage systems. The role involves fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of civil construction work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys for infrastructure projects.

  • Use total stations, GPS, and other survey equipment to collect and verify data.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, field notes, and maps.

  • Assist in the design and layout of infrastructure components such as roads, pipelines, culverts, and earthworks.

  • Monitor and verify construction work to ensure it conforms with design specifications and survey plans.

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and local authorities during project planning and execution.

  • Conduct as-built surveys and prepare final deliverables using CAD and GIS software.

  • Manage survey data processing and maintain accurate records in digital and hardcopy formats.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in land or engineering surveying, preferably within infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency in using survey instruments (e.g., Trimble, Leica), GPS systems, and CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).

  • Understanding of civil construction practices, infrastructure development processes, and engineering drawings.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Knowledge of local regulations and construction standards is an advantage.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Surveyor License or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

  • Experience with UAV/drone surveys and photogrammetry.

  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling software.
