Job description
To lead the design, installation, and management of mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring that all
mechanical installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant codes and standards. This role involves
creating detailed mechanical designs, supervising installations, managing a team of mechanical engineers and sub
contractors, and ensuring project milestones are met. This position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality
mechanical systems by coordinating with management /stakeholders, monitoring progress, and addressing any
issues promptly
Principal Accountabilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures
· Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work
environment.
· Implement and uphold safety and security protocols to protect the well-being of all employees and
company assets.
Mechanical Work Execution and Team Coordination
Lead and execute detailed mechanical layouts and plans, ensuring proper implementation of mechanical
construction works in alignment with design specifications, industry standards, and project goals.
2. Supervise the installation of mechanical systems and components to ensure work is performed according
to quality standards, design requirements, and established timelines.
3. Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering staff, technicians, and subcontractors by assigning tasks,
monitoring performance, and fostering effective collaboration.
4. Assess construction sites to determine mechanical requirements, identify constraints or improvement
opportunities, and ensure system functionality and integration.
Project Documentation, Monitoring, and Communication
Select appropriate mechanical materials and equipment based on project specifications, design intent, and
performance expectations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
2. Track mechanical work progress and project milestones, prepare progress reports, and resolve emerging
issues to maintain schedule adherence and quality.
3. Coordinate with management to develop and manage mechanical budgets, ensuring financial control,
resource optimization, and alignment with project goals.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, managers, suppliers, and team members to ensure transparency,
alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Miscellaneous Duties

Job requirements
Required Academic Qualification
Qualification bachelor’s degree
Category Mechanical Engineering
7-8 Years of experience in Mega Infrastructure Projects (Mechanical Discipline).
