Compensation & Benefits Manager

Job description

To manage all aspects of compensation and benefits programs within the organization.

  1. Principal Accountabilities:

Salary and Grading Scale Management:

  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive salary structures and grading scales that align with organizational objectives, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  2. Conduct regular evaluations and updates to ensure internal equity and competitiveness in the market.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review job descriptions and ensure accurate job grading and alignment with organizational goals.

Job Evaluation:

  1. Lead the job evaluation process using established methodologies such as point factor analysis, job ranking, and market pricing.
  2. Partner with HR business partners and department heads to review and analyze job roles and responsibilities, ensuring consistency and fairness in job classifications.
  3. Utilize job evaluation results to recommend appropriate salary ranges and adjustments for new and existing positions.

Salary Review and Adjustments:

  1. Coordinate annual salary review processes, including performance-based merit increases, promotions, and cost-of-living adjustments.
  2. Analyse performance appraisal data, market trends, and budget considerations to determine appropriate salary adjustments.
  3. Provide guidance and support to department heads and managers in making fair and equitable salary decisions while adhering to organizational policies and budget constraints.

Salary Increments:

  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing salary increments, promotions, and career progression pathways.
  2. Monitor and analyze salary survey data and industry trends to ensure competitive positioning and alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Collaborate with HRIS team to automate and streamline the salary increment process, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Bonus and Incentive Schemes:

  1. Design, implement, and administer bonus and incentive programs aligned with organizational objectives and employee performance metrics.
  2. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of incentive schemes to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  3. Communicate bonus and incentive plans effectively to employees, providing clarity on eligibility criteria, performance expectations, and payout mechanisms.

Qualification

  1. degree

Bachelor in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent

  1. Years of Experience

7+ years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits

  • Experience in Construction is highly preferred.
  • Experience in development salary scales, job evaluations and incentive schema is highly preferred.
  • Advance analytical skills.
  • Job Evaluation certificates is highly preferred.

CIPD, PHRi, CP certificates preferred
